Hi All (my dear blog lovers),
I am back online and I've been on quite a journey from my last blog post. I must be honest and tell you that this adulthood and life is something else.
My advise to kids of today: "please enjoy your childhood, have fun, go to school, learn, grow and be a child. This adult life is a trick, believe me..."
Anyhoo, I am back and I am ready to explore a different part of this journey. I'll take you with me on this journey!!!
Please be advised that I'll be making changes to this blog and give it a bit of a boost.
Mwah!!!
Till later chickas.

Port Elizabeth holiday...
Life changing experience. I really didn't think that PE of all places would change my life completely. I think to a certain extent, the fact that I actually took time off and went on vacation totally had something to do with the life changing experience and new vision for my life.
I am excited about everything after this holiday. I would say that a switch has been turned on! I can see the light, just not sure where yet, lol. Certainly returning to the office tomorrow with a new vision and definitely a new directed view of what I want to achieve and what I want to work towards.
2017 really started with a bang, faster than expected. Everything is so much more demanding and faster. On all different levels expectations are higher and more is expected from all different angles.
I can't wait to start a new journey, 15 May 2017 is the date set to just stream line everything. The changes and new direction has been put in place, the recipe has been drafted (not sure whether there is a recipe to follow though), but we are focusing on what we want to achieve and that why, we try and get the plans in place.
Am really excited!!!
Weird that 2017 is actually only starting for me now or rather, it finally hit me, lol.😳😳😳😳
But I am ready and definitely ready on making this happen...
Hopefully, I'll write a post on my year: 2017 at the end of this journey (this year). But the excitement is amazing!!!!
Enjoy the Sunday chickas!!!!

The weekend that was...
Saturday, Bronwyn and myself decided to go for lunch a The Olive Exclusive in Windhoek, fabulous I must say. The atmosphere of that beauty in Klein Windhoek is just a gem.
This was the view from where we were sitting, with fast and professional service, this is just a place that makes everything disappear in thin air. All you can do is enjoy every second.
We started off with an amazing glass of wine. Scaramanga, it is called, if am not mistaken, but so damn divine. Just look at the view guys, isn't it great???
I am very bad for not remember the name of this 'lekker' dish. It was very well prepared and was so damn filling as well… I still told Bronwyn that this is something that one can try at home when one can get the recipe, lol. Just imagine you prepare this for some friends and have a leaker house lunch/dinner something, lol. I can just imagine how some of my friends will rave about the dish.
Some extra picture that I've squeezed in, it was really an amazing time… I've missed most of my other appointments and plans of the rest of the Saturday, but no regrets, had a lot of fun and at the end of the day it was so damn worth it.
I would advise all of you my chickas to this place out, you'll not regret it one second.

Sleep, Sleep, Sleep...
For the past month or so, I've been struggling to sleep. So, I did some research in order to try and find out what the hell is wrong.
Insomnia is the word that everyone has been throwing around when they're struggling to sleep, so I've decided to do a little research around the condition or disease or whatever you want to call it.
Definition of Insomnia:
Insomnia or sleeplessness, is a sleep disorder in which there is an inability to fall asleep or to stay asleep as long as desired.
Well, I don't have a desire to sleep, lol. I need to sleep, because am extremely exhausted and at this point of time it's really affecting my ability to concentrate and I have a constant headache, I even start with a headache everyday.
So, I went a little further with my research and found out what the symptoms might be and to my shock, I got to this, crazy stuff. Some of the symptoms:
- Difficulty falling asleep at night
- Awakening during the night
- Awakening too early
- Not feeling well rested after a night's sleep
- Irritability, depression or anxiety
And I've realised, damn, there certainly is something wrong with me, 'cause all of the abovementioned symptoms and the rest on the website is exactly what am experiencing.
I've been wondering whether I should see a doctor, lol. But also thought nah, it's maybe not that serious, but then I got this information aswell and realised, maybe it's time to see a doctor now:
When to see a Doctor?
If insomnia makes it hard for you to function during the day, see your doctor to determine what might be the cause of your sleep problem and how it can be treated.
They're even indicating that one might be send to a sleeping center for special tests in order to determine what the real cause is. "Now it's becoming scary"
If you are experiencing some sleep trouble, please do yourself a favour and read the following. Some very vital information and causes that might cause the reason for sleep trouble or problems.
Hope this is helpful to someone, I certainly need to go see my doctor in order to determine as to what my cause is and how it can be treated.

John Legend is coming to SA with "All of me" tour!!!
So, this morning as every other morning, I normally start with some news updates and I love me some celebrity news and updates. Guess what popped up on my screen: "John Legend is coming to SA". Amazing news indeed, lol.
So, Big Concerts confirmed that the legendary nine Grammy Award winnder and mutliplatinum-selling artist will be grazing the soil of South Africa again later this year. This time he's coming with his All Of Me Tour.
Detail of the tour:
Cape Town: November 16-17 2014 at the Grand Arena, GrandWest
Johannesburg: November 22-23 2014 at Coca-Cola Dome

Immediately, with not much thought, I've sent an e-mail to my friends in JHB to reserve the dates, 'cause believe me, am going for this concert, I just can't wait, lol.
So, guys if you don't want to be dissappointed, please do get your ticket, the rest of the logistics you can sort out later, but tickets will most definately be sold out, like so many other shows of him on this specific tour.
See you guys there!!!

Apology accepted!
I am going to start with an apology... Am very sorry for been so quiet and for such a long time. No excuse.
I've learned a while ago that it's important to understand when to apologize and when to take a step back and reflect on what went wrong, not necessarily to see who was at fault, but merely assessing the value of the person you need to apologize to.
Dr. Maya Angelou (May her soul rest in eternal peace) made me realise so many things the past month or so with her quotes and the way she lived her life. What an amazing soul mother earth and the society as a whole lost.

Dr. Maya Angelou (May her soul rest in eternal peace) made me realise so many things the past month or so with her quotes and the way she lived her life. What an amazing soul mother earth and the society as a whole lost.

The above quote made me realise that it really got nothing to do with what happened or what the situation was. Even though we always want to blame something or someone, it's really ourselves that we need to look at and assess as to what went wrong. We need to learn to accept our flaws, 'cause we're the only person that we can change, our attitudes we can change and only we can do that individually.

I can only thank Dr. Maya Angelou for the lessons that she left for us to learn from still and I appreciate it a lot. Even though I knew that I was not wrong, I've learned to assess the value and relationship in order to get to the point of apologizing and believe me, the feeling is amazingly good. One thing that she maybe missed, or rather, she believed and hoped that when you apologize, you should be genuine. When you genuinely apologize, it's like schackles breaking loose and you're free.
I love it, and I've decided to apologize, not matter what the situation and no matter what the problem or who the person is and whether whoever was wrong. It's merely a principle to free yourself.
Hope the read was enjoyable.
Till next time chickas.

The wedding bells kept ringing...
My cousin got married in December 2013 (I know, quite a late post)... It was an amazing event and very well organized and planned, I loved and enjoyed every second of it.
The wedding took place in Otjiwarongo at C'est si Bon. Beautiful place and wonderful service. The weekend was amazing and wonderful...
The church service and reception was impacable, the messages was genuine and true to the couple. Wonderful...
As crazy as I know my family, we had so much fun and were crazy as always. It mostly cousins that decided to embrace the weekend and enjoy every second of a break away from the rat race and the crazy hecic lives we live. We totally had fun and made every second count.

Mother and daughter sharing a moment. Totally love this picture...
The couple with the young once. They've rocked the entire outfit and colour and am proud to say that that's my family, lol.
I really can't remember why she smiled like that, but believe me, something was said by one of the cousins, cause I can remember that we were comedians that day, lol.
Till later chikas.

2014 - New year and 365 days to write our own book!!!
First of all, I want to apologise for been so quiet, 2013 surely turned out to be an extremely hectic and crazy year. Thank God we made it to 2014, lol.
Well, at the same time, Happy new Year my beloved friends. May this one be that ONE!!!!
I will be back in full swing soonest, believe me, stay tuned.
The year started off with a bang again, but at least we can say that we've learned (or so I hope), how to manage our time better and also at the same time, how to juggle things to make life easier and more liveable, lol.
I still love you all and believe me this year, we'll have a twist to this blog space and make wake it up again.
Till later chikas…

Dilicious Dillish!!!
It was with mixed feelings that I got to know that Dillish won the BBA, The Chase title. Very proud of her, quite impressed with the way she endures the whole process.
I am not a big fan of the BBA show, but I got updated by my mother everytime, whether I wanted to know or listen or not. I just had to sit en listen, while my mother kept on informing me.
This is one beautiful woman. I must say, I've seen her around in the media and stuff a lot even before she went to the BBA house and am very happy that she won The Chase.
When I first heard the rumour that Maria and Dillish would be going to the BBA house, I was very upset with the newspapers and all the journalists that tried to ruin that opportunity for them. Reason why: I thought from the beginning that they are a good match to go represent Namibia. I was quite happy for them even.
Don't get me wrong, I never raved or expected that any of them would even make it past the first month, honestly speaking. I was a bit shocked and sad that Maria left so early, because of what my mother told be, I thought she was much better then the rest of the people that stayed in the house, but yeah, we were supposed to vote.
I was forced by mother to start voting and keep on voting for Dillish afterwards and I thought it was a waste of time everytime, but after the fact that she won, I can say that my votes counted as well, and once again, am totally proud of her.
Some diary sessions with Biggie, lol. From what I've heard she was always a bit insecure and not sure whether she will make it because of the fact that she was never HOS or that she was nominated again. But clearly, she was loved by Africa, because Africa kept her in the house and got her to win.
At the end of the day, all I would like to tell her is that she had a lot in how the people voted. Africa saved her and kept her in the house because they came to love her. Her true personality, honesty, beauty and humbleness! Well done Dillish...
Namibia is proud of you and I think you for the true and honest representation in the house. You are the bomb darling...

"Aunt Bells, I miss you, miss your voice, the random phone calls and the lekker Heineken's, lol!"
This year, I might be joined by
friends. Wanted my parents to come along, but unfortunately they have a wedding
celebration that week and in Mariental somewhere on a lodge.

Lee Thompson Young
Lee Thompson Youn
(February 1, 1984 - August 19,2013)
It was with great sadness that I've heard that the beautiful, talented and sexy Lee is not with us anymore. I liked all the roles he played, I've enjoyed all the movies or films he acted in, even if it was just an appearance for about a minute or so. Believe me you, he was indeed something to look at and when he opened his mouth, that voice, lol!
Anyways, it's sad that he is gone and he will be remembered for many more years.
R.I.P dude!!!!
I will definately not comment on anything else or give detail on what's been said about what happened or anything, it's way too sad for me... *sniff-sniff*

In time you will get what is due to you!!!
Everyone might be going like: "Ag, whatever, how long am I gonna wait, lol"? Well, I have news for you, it depends on how patient you'll be, lol. ***CRAZY***
Got the below paragraph from the following blog: http://themegazeen.blogspot.com/2013/07/about-time.html
""We get so caught up keeping up with the Joneses we forget that we did not start the race at the same time, let alone run on the same track! We put ourselves under unnecessary pressure because you look to the right and Sipho is on property number two at the tender age of 25 (*side note* ever noticed how in primary school story sums there is always a Sipho, lol who is this Sipho guy??), you loo to the left and Sande just got her big break... FOR THE TENTH TIME! Life is unfair like that, we can't just get what we want when we want it, but in time, all that's due to you will make its way to you. So learn to be patient, keep moving and focus on your own race. ""
Yes, I was also sitting and reading this and wondering, oh well, whatever, but come to think of it, it's actually true.
We are so busy complaining or concentrating on other peoples races, that we can't even see or we don't even notice when out big break comes or when we get the opportunities, because we're focused on other people.
It really got me thinking about myself and my life. Things changed so much for me this year, so many different (good different) things happened this year and only because of the fact that I started concentrating on myself. And we should really be careful who we associate ourselves with. Not everyone that smiles with you are your friends.
Life is good, everyone gets in life what they deserve. We tend to complicate it ourselves. All we need to keep in mind is that everything happens for a reason and everything happens at the right time in our lives.
Splendid weekend chikas.
Enjoy and MWAH!!!

Proud moment - Rivan Meyer
So, when I opened the local newspaper (Die Republikein) this morning, 'sommer so whoa!' just like that, I see my friend in the newspaper.
Rivan Meyer: Manager: Internet Banking. I am so proud of him. Still couldn't get a hold of him, because of meetings and stuff, lol. But my word, am so proud of him that I can't keep it to myself. This is so long overdue and he really deserves it.
Congratulations my friend. I can still recall the day we were talking about moving forward when you said; I just hope that it can happen already and that you don't understand why it's taking forever. And my response was: patience my friend, the right time will come, and you'll be suprised.
I am happy for you, very happy and I know you have a wonderful wife: Gaynor Meyer by your side supporting you.
Love you guys!!!

New King for the Netherlands!
Been watching the float yesterday of the King sailing on the Amsterdam with his family and a lot of boats taking part in the float.
I think it's amazing how so many royal families exist and sometimes we don't even notice or take note of them, but I truly enjoy this monarchy and find it quite interesting as well.
So, Queen (now Princess Beatric of the Netherlands) decided to abdicate her position because she believes that the responsibilities of the Netherlands should be taken care of by a new generation. I personally think this is a good decision and that it's of the best interest of the nation.
But as always, there will be a lot of rumours as to why she did it and one of it, as I've expected is because the job has become too hard, lol. Sometimes we people just want to say what we want to neh, and believe it sommer, lol.
The reasons she gave for her abdication in her speech are the following:
- She turned 75 in 2013
- The Dutch monarchy came into existence exactly 200 years ago in 2013, starting a new time in the Dutch history.
Having these two special celebrations in one year, she decided to give the throne to her son, current Crown Prince (King) Willem-Alexander. This was also not a decision made just out of the spur of the moment. She had been wondering about this for a few years now.
Well, all I can say; Hope that King Willem-Alexander will keep the legacy growing and make his mother proud. King Willem-Alexander is the head of the Dutch royal house and the House of Amsterdam. He's the first male monarch of the Netherlands since the death of William III in 1980.
"Ik hoop jullie hebben het lezen genieten en al het beste voor Koning Willem-Alexander"

Release date: "Revenge wears prada"
You guys might remember my post about the sequel for 'The Devil wears Prada'. The titel of the sequel is Revenge wears Prada, interesting title and as mentioned in my previous post, I can't wait for it to be released.
Well, I've found out that the book will hit the shelfs June, 4th, 2013 which mad eme very happy, as a count down started, lol. This is exactly a month and 22 days away.
The very red cover of the book is very intiguing and will capture a lot of attention, but the story line or rather preview is just as catching.
A short preview of the book below:
"Eight years have passed since Andrea "Andy" Sachs quit the job "a million girls would die for" working for Miranda Priestly at Runway Magazine - a dream that turned out to be a nightmare. Now Andy's on the top of the wor'd; she's writing and reporting to her heart's content; running The Plunge, her wildly successful high fashion bridal magazine with Miranda's other ex-assistant, Emily; and most importantly, getting married to the scion of a storied media family and the love of her life.
But the night before her wedding, Andy can't sleep. As happy as she is- as happy as she should be- she's still haunted by the specter of ther former boss. Maybt it's survivor syndrome? Or maybe it's justifiable, self-inflicted, paranoia. From the start, Andy and Emily have felt entitled to use their rolodex of contacts- Miranda's contacts- from Runway as they make their way in the magazine world. As The Plunge succeeds, Andy and Emily realize they'll soon come face to face with their former tormenter at industry functions, award ceremonies, and even weddings. Still, Andy can hardly anticipate the horrifying reality that's approaching- a reversal so profounf that she will be squarely in Miranda's crosshairs once more.
Karma's a bitch. And Andy's efforts to build a bright new life have led het directly to the one she fled- and into the path of the Devil herself."
I seriously can't wait to get this book, thus I've pre-ordered it on Amazon. I believe that this is going to be a great read and I would love to see how things are played out.
Happy waiting chickas...

Realisation!!!
After a lot of struggle, frustration and boredom, here I am...
As humans we tend to want to take things in our own strength and stride, but we forget that there is a higher power and the universe playing a big difference in our lives. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that we should sit back and expect things to just happen. We need to and yes, it's our responsibility to take that first step and dream!!!
The Universe only works with what she receives from us and she can only manifest on what she receives.
You might say: "But I am dreaming" and my next question will be, so, what are you doing about and with your dreams?
Everything in life starts with a dream or a thought, but things needs to be done in order to make it a success or make it a reality. Don't expect things to be easy at the end of the day, because it's not going to be, am not going to lie about this fact. It's tough as hell, lol. You should remain focus, should have the crown in site always and should want to have it for yourself. It should not be someone elses goal or dream, but your own.
Yes, all of you might be asking, but hey, whats up with this post, lol... I am happy to say that things are looking better... We should learn to trust and have faith, cause even the times when we are down and struggling and thinking that we're loosing, we should never loose hope. We should always push forward. Never ever give up!!!
We've got to learn to dust ourselves off and try again. But it's important to know where you are, where you're going and what direction to follow. Forget about getting lost, it's normal even with a map, lol. It just depends on what version of the map you have. Things change along the way, so you need to keep up on the changes and the trends, lol.
Watch this spave my dear people, it's about to blossom, lol.
EVERYTHING IN LIFE IN TEMPORARY!!!
Treat it as such, and believe me, things will make more sense at the end of the day.
I love you all and I believe that 2013 is THE year, let's make changes, let's allow ourselves to evolve...
Till next time chickas.
Mwah!!!
