Some random kuiers during the festive season!!!

It was a fantastic Friday afternoon when a few of us just decided to get together and just spent time together before all of us started with the festive celebrations.

Keith, Uda, Natasha and Tashia on our way to Primi from Mugg & Bean! This is how we roll. Tashia is such an amazing person, love her too bits and Tasha is this bomb shell. Fantastic personality, but then again look at me, if you know me then am sure you know what kind of crowd I like and enjoy hanging out with.

We were just very crazy this day. But it was so much fun to spend time with the people I enjoy been with.

That's Uda for you, standing almost behind me and pulling some funny faces, lol. I love this woman to bits, she's just everything I need and want in a friend! This is such a cool pic!

The night ended very well and it was one big success again and it wasn't planned. Everything just happened. So, enjoyed every minute of it.

Till next time chikas.

Allergies, Aaaarrrrrggggghhhhh

I think I've mentioned it before that I am allergic to a lot of things. Well, a new allergy popped up again, shit shit shit! Luckily, the medicine world thought about this way before my allergy popped up.

This morning at 3 when I woke up to start with my daily study period, I've noticed that my lips are swollen and I have a terrible itch and irritation in my eyes. So, I've tried looking for a possible bite mark, sometimes it can just be a bite or something from an insect. And also rinsed my eyes with some clean water and tried everying. Couldn't find anything and my eyes  was all wet and irritated by this time, so I've tried ice blocks and everything just to get the swelling down. Succeeded, but still didn't look that good.

Went to my doctor this mornind and walla, am allergic to pollen, and there is a lot of pollen currently in the air. Damn, obviously there will be pollen in the air, it's spring/summer, for goodness sake, but yeah! Luckuly got an injection, so the swelling is down and the eye irritation is getting much better, so yeah. Another allergy to add to my never ending list, lol.

Enjoy the rest of your day chickas.

Performance by Lize feat. Sean Kamati @ MoJoe's

So, I headed to MoJoe's on Tuesday, the 1st of November 2011 again to listen to these two fantastic friends of mine and so had a ball of a time.

I believe all of you my chickas can remember the live music by Lize at MoJoe's mentioned before on my blog: http://pluzjean.blogspot.com/2011/08/mo-joes-night-turned-crazy.html. Now Lize is my friend since primary school and I appreciate her music performances, as it is not like the ordinary where you go and just listen to music. This girl has the power of keeping her crowed entertained and has a sense of humor that I can't really pin point.

Lize and Sean
Well, I've decided to invite Uda ofcourse, my bestest friend and Jackson, also a friend, but am totally enjoying his company! Might even turn out to be the 3 mascateers, but yeah, only time will tell.

It was one fantastic night again. Lize was in her element again and Sean is just getting better everytime I hear him sing.

But then we were introduce to a terrible baby, shot, some chocolate box something. That was just crazy. Didn't take a picture of the flaming bastard, lol. But it was good and I felt like shit, or we felt terrible Wednesday after that baby.

I just had to take a picture with the stars of the evening, my friends (just had to get one in, mwahahahahahah). But yeah, we quickly went into a Baltimore character stream and took this picture.

Just look at that pic, so love it, and I love you guys a lot.

We had the best waitress ever, but this girl has something, she has the smile, personality, ability to get her customers to just buy, buy, buy.

Actaully wondering whether she's modelling, she has the perfect body and blooming smile.

But yeah, after the shots and stuff, we were very crazy. Here's a few pics of that memory.

Well, this was one fantastic evening and we sure had some great fun!!!!

Till next time chickas!

The soccer was fantastic!

So, as I told you guys yesterday, my friend Uda scooped some VIP tickets to the soccer match last night and I was her plus one, lol. Love it!
Well, before I went to the soccer, I met up with a friend, Jackson. We went to Primi for a pre drink.
This is Jackson at Primi, it was quite an awesome time with me, had some great time and we chatted about everything, haven't seen him in quite some time.
This was really great to spend time with him again.
Primi itself was quiet.

The atmosphere was great and we chatted as we've been in contact all this time, very nice to have friends like that.

Met up with Uda later and Jackson decided to accompany us to the soccer match which was really no problem.

We had so much fun, laughing and watching the game.

The game was quite interesting and tough at the same time. Teams played off ona  0-0 final score, meaning that it was clearly two powerful teams competing.

We on the other hand had so much fun taking pictures with different people and friends of us that was also at the soccer.

Myself and Jackson

Uda and Myself

Uda and Kobus

Webster and myself

Jackson and the flag girl

Myself and Liz Ross
Well, this was a Tafel Lager event and we had to enjoy the Tafel brew, even though am not a beer drinker and don't even like Tafel, but I had a few glasses to enjoy myself, because seriously I wouldn't want to drink juice after starting with some Savannah lights at Primi. It really wouldn't have worked.

This is me driving back home after the outing to a soccer match, lol.

Chat again soon chickas.

Soccer: Namibia vs Lesotho

So, I believe everyone that know's me will know that I am not the biggest fan of soccer. But hey, my friend Uda got some two VIP tickets to the game tonight, and guess who she invited, lol? Well, isn't that obvious, ME!!!!

So, I actually can't wait to meet the players of the different teams, cause it's VIP and we get a chance to meet the two different teams, that should be great with free drinks and free food. Am not the eater though, but where there is free drinks, who will say no to invite like that, lol.

So, I will definitately let you guys know as to how that went.

Cheerio chickas.

This feels like the longest week!

Everyone will be asking, hallo, why? But this feels like the longest week of this year. I am tired, and just tired, lol. Nothing to do, no exciting trips to look forward to for this weekend or anything going on in Windhoek. Wondering whether I should go to Tsumeb for the copper festival, or Rehoboth with friends and to go chill at the Oanub dam for the Saturday, I just don't know.

I think Tsumeb is a better bet, seeing that I was in Rehoboth the previous weeekend, Well will see.

But is it Friday already?

Chat again soon chikas, lol.

3 Days to the Jazz Encounter!!!

This morning I woke up and realised that there are only 3 days left to the Old Mutual Jazz Encounter. It is giong to be a fantastic event again.

There will be some local acts like Lize Ehlers, Suzie and quite a few other performances as well, but what I am waiting for is Simphiwe Dana and Jimmy Dludlu, two remarkable SA jazz artist.
Simphiwe is just phenominal, I love her voice and every minute of her performances. The pure voice and great dances.

She is just beautiful with her voice, personality and the aroma she gives off, lol. You can actually visit her site: http://www.simphiwedana.com/, believe me, you will not be dissappointed and somer buy yourself one of a CD's, fantastic for a Saturday afternoon when you just want to sit and relax with a glass of wine.

Jimmy on the other hand comes a long way. The way he plays his guitarre is one of the moments I just don't and can't miss. That powerful manly voice, damn, the way I love jazz.

Another weekend that will have some great memories and fantastic music on Namibian soil.

Well, we're preparing for a great event and a fantastic weekend. Everything should be planned in such a way that we don't need to run around the last minute. Thinking about the outfit, cool box, drinks, camping chairs and yeah, the company should be proper.

Can't wait chickas, will see you all there.

Song Night: September peace concert.

Hi chickas, well I love the initiative of a friend of mine: Lize Ehler's. She started the song night event and it's fantastic, growing every month. This even takes place every last Wednesday of every month. September was the peace concert and it was fantastic.

What actually blew me away was this girl Suzie. OMW, she played the Saxephone like a strong man, but with such elegance and strength. Loved every minute of her performance.

She's one beast, believe me and the cherry on the cake is that she'll be performing at the jazz encounter the weekend of the 8th of October 2011.

I really had a great evening once again and it was so much fun last night.

Still need to get a hold of some jazz tickets, cause I've got to be there, it's one event that I can't miss.

Mwah!!!! Chat soon again.

Hart van Windhoek!!!

OMW, it's finally here. I believe that this is what Namibia has been waiting for, for an opportunity to see world known starts and celebrities on our home soil.

Westlife is going to be here for the weekend of the 16th and 17th September 2011. I really hope that they're going to beform some oldies of them. I mean, the album: coast to coast (how I remember Mariental days), lol.

I just love this group, well not really that much anymore, but they were my favourite those days.

I am so going to enjoy myself, with a lot of my Mariental friends that I know who's going to be there as well, lol, so gonna have fun.

This is the invite or let me say the poster of the hart van Windhoek skouspel, lol. It's so going to be fun again, lol.

Freshly grounds is going to be here as well and they'll be performing on Saturday. So love this group and so proud of them. They are one hell of a good group.

They are so phenominal.

Mwah chikas, we'll see each other there. We will so gonna have fun, so if you see me there, just halla at me, I will knock you out with some great fun.

Just one of those weeks! Just have a terrible emo' feeling...

I just miss some people, have been missing them for the past week or so and really need to get to a point to get to them or just call them.

But I don't know what the real issue is, but things are just not right this week, everything's just going wrong and am tired for putting on a specific face every morning, because I don't feel the way my face is shining.

I just miss my friends: I miss my brother/friend a lot.

Wennie (brother/friend), myself, and Misha (cousin/friend)
My brother really is a big part of my life and I love him too bits. It's been quite a while since the last time we saw each other, but in my heart he'll remain. Talk to him almost everyday, but I just want to hug him and just want him to tell me again that everything's going to be fine.

Myself, Uda and Esti (Ethiopean model friend of mine)
The way I miss Uda, even though we spent last Saturday together, but there is that support, the smile, the hugs and simple random kisses that I miss a lot at the moment. Esti, you are indeed a great friend, I miss you guys really.

This is one of my friend's from Cape Town, fantastic person with a great personality and that smile!

Myself and Waldo
Elsabe is an ex-colleague of mine, but damn did we grow close and the way we're postponing our get together and hang out, damn gal, we've got to make a plan and very soon.
Elsabe and Myself
This was as I've mentioned before a very emotional and "kakkies" week, but life goes on! So, what kept me busy was this Noah's Arc series and the book: Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert.

Noah and Wade
Noah's Arc is a fantastic series, they've only produced 2 seasons and am actually praying for more, as it is motivational and one actually learns a lot from it. I know it's just a series, but we can still use some of the things.

I love reading, I make time during my busy schedule with partying, sport, school work and everything else in my life. I need to atleast read like 8 hours a week, except for reading the newspapers and my magazines, lol.

So, am busy with the book eat, pray, love at the moment, fantastic book and I really can't wait to get home everyday, just to continue. Don't know whether its the right book to read at the moment, but am totally enjoying every minute of reading it, lol.

Just a little review:

"Elizabeth Gilbert has written a very entertaining and enlightening book about her travels to Italy, India, and Indonesia. Following her divorce, Elizabeth experienced a crushing depression resulting in panic, confusion, and weight loss. This is the story of her travels and explorations of three different cultures, in an effort to find balance in her life. "

Hope this weekend is going to be a bit better, because I can't stand this. I've just got to go on and move on and get out of this dumb, it's crazy and it's not me, lol.

Chat again soon chikas!!!!

One crazy, yet relaxed weekend.

LMFAO, I really don't know how crazy yet relaxing fits, but that's how my weekend was. I was out Thursday and it was hectic.

Saturday, I was invited to go have a braai with some friends at the "paaltjies"(this is a braai area some 5km outside WIndhoek on the B1 to Okahandja. Beautiful outdoor view of nature and quite some cool sunsets.

I've joined them a bit late, because of the fact that I was still sick from Thursday's hectic outing.

This was the time I've arrived. You can clearly see that I look sick and I was indeed. That's Uda's sister, Julia. I love this family too bits, as we share a lot and spend quite a lot of time together as well.

Their eldest sister, so you can imagine the dance moves, lol. We had so much fun, but this is a beautiful woman, you can't tell that she has 3 kidz. Still kept her sexy body.

Julia striking a poze

This is really one beautiful family with 4 sisters and one brother. Well, the brother wasn't there to enjoy this day with us, because he's in London. And one thing about these sisters, they love posing for fotos.

Julia, Nelly and Uda
But I mean, who wouldn't love fotos if you were so photogenic. Just look at Julia, that smile, Nelly, that innocent mature face and the Uda, very confusing face, smiling inocently, but then you can see that something is hiding, lol. kwaaaak.

And Loup Loup is their little sister and she's one hotty, loving the camera and the camera loves her. Such things!!!
Loup Loup, loving the camera!!!
Uda, the chef.
This gal of mine can cook. Believe me, and she loves it, lol. At this point of time, we couldn't wait for the food to be done, and she was still busy with the meat.

The two mascatiers, just look at them, getting ready or thinking of whereto after this get together, lol.

I think this picture was taken after quite a few drinks, lol.

Well, this was one hell of a fantastic day, and yeah, when we got home, we've decided not to go out and just stay indoors. Julia went to get a movie called Legion and we've watched it. Quite and interesting movie, and we've so enjoyed it.

This is the review of the movie:
"When God grows tired of humans and their disobedience, he sends the Archangel Michael (Bettany) to wipe them off the face of the earth. More specifically he needs to kill the one child that can stop God’s wrath and save mankind. The only problem is that child hasn’t been born yet, and the mother is a waitress at a small diner in the middle of the Mojave Desert. Michael defies God’s Will and decides to save the child, which turns the restaurant into a war zone between heaven and earth. He will have to combat an entire legion of angels led by the heavily favored, Gabriel."

It was indeed a fantastic movie, even though I completely had a bad stomach feeling after that movie. Not my kind of movies, I love drama and music movies, lol.

But it was good. At least I slept the night away and didn't go out, lol.

Chat again soon lovies.

And wow, he looked stunning, my brother's matric farewell!!!!

So, yesterday I had to drive down to my home town Rehoboth where my brother's matric farewell took place. The guy is matric and wow the year is almost over and am so proud of him with everything going on in todays society and the way things just turns out to be messy with the young people.

He totally rocked that outfit. My mother was the designer and this was tailor made just for him. Quite some swag hey!!!

I was so happy to see my granny at our house when I got there and she looked great herself. Proud granny with a happy chappy "outjie" (My brother).

And so the pictures was taken and he just kept on smilling and enjoying all the attention. You must understand, we get it from our mother, lol.

Proud parents!!!
My two younger borthers was his escorts, and they also looked fabulous. So love my mother's creativity, the way she dreams about these things and see pictures or let me say formulates all these pictures in a head, even months before the real event!!! Yeah, that's her, so you can just imagine, lol.

My mother (middle), with the twins Michael (left) and Domasco (right).
My brother so totally wanted this foto to be taken, just look at their swag at such a young age.

I still can't believe that he's matric and next year its of to varsity, am so going to enjoy the last few months we have together every weekend, cause the way he wants to study in SA is just driving me crazy. I will miss him. Am so damn proud of him.

And here's a pic of the three of us, so love these two guys, my brother and my other half, mwah! I love this picture.

Myself, Refilwe (my brother), and Victor (the love of my life).

Even our dog (Whiskey) wanted to be in a picture and he made sure to give a pose.

Just look at that pose, damn, that's a cool one, lol. Love you whiskey. He is so old guys, but we love him too bits. He grew up with the twins and they're 12years old now.

Hannes, thank you very much for the effort in driving my little brother to his poker night in LA (That was their theme and so beautiful.

Refilwe (left), Hannes (right)
We've popped some nice sparkling wine before we let him go to his well deserved matric farewell, just look at the way he had that swag on. But don't worry guys, he just had the glass for the photos, we didn't allow him to drink, lol, he's still under 18, lol.

I really hope that he had a blast and that the whole evening was a great success.

Will chat soon again.
