The wedding bells kept ringing...

My cousin got married in December 2013 (I know, quite a late post)... It was an amazing event and very well organized and planned, I loved and enjoyed every second of it.

The wedding took place in Otjiwarongo at C'est si Bon. Beautiful place and wonderful service. The weekend was amazing and wonderful...

The church service and reception was impacable, the messages was genuine and true to the couple. Wonderful...

As crazy as I know my family, we had so much fun and were crazy as always. It mostly cousins that decided to embrace the weekend and enjoy every second of a break away from the rat race and the crazy hecic lives we live. We totally had fun and made every second count.

Mother and daughter sharing a moment. Totally love this picture...

The couple with the young once. They've rocked the entire outfit and colour and am proud to say that that's my family, lol.

I really can't remember why she smiled like that, but believe me, something was said by one of the cousins, cause I can remember that we were comedians that day, lol.

Till later chikas.

2014 - New year and 365 days to write our own book!!!

First of all, I want to apologise for been so quiet, 2013 surely turned out to be an extremely hectic and crazy year. Thank God we made it to 2014, lol.

Well, at the same time, Happy new Year my beloved friends. May this one be that ONE!!!!

I will be back in full swing soonest, believe me, stay tuned.

The year started off with a bang again, but at least we can say that we've learned (or so I hope), how to manage our time better and also at the same time, how to juggle things to make life easier and more liveable, lol.

I still love you all and believe me this year, we'll have a twist to this blog space and make wake  it up again.

Till later chikas…

Dilicious Dillish!!!

It was with mixed feelings that I got to know that Dillish won the BBA, The Chase title. Very proud of her, quite impressed with the way she endures the whole process.

I am not a big fan of the BBA show, but I got updated by my mother everytime, whether I wanted to know or listen or not. I just had to sit en listen, while my mother kept on informing me.

This is one beautiful woman. I must say, I've seen her around in the media and stuff a lot even before she went to the BBA house and am very happy that she won The Chase.

When I first heard the rumour that Maria and Dillish would be going to the BBA house, I was very upset with the newspapers and all the journalists that tried to ruin that opportunity for them. Reason why: I thought from the beginning that they are a good match to go represent Namibia. I was quite happy for them even.

Don't get me wrong, I never raved or expected that any of them would even make it past the first month, honestly speaking. I was a bit shocked and sad that Maria left so early, because of what my mother told be, I thought she was much better then the rest of the people that stayed in the house, but yeah, we were supposed to vote.

I was forced by mother to start voting and keep on voting for Dillish afterwards and I thought it was a waste of time everytime, but after the fact that she won, I can say that my votes counted as well, and once again, am totally proud of her.

Some diary sessions with Biggie, lol. From what I've heard she was always a bit insecure and not sure whether she will make it because of the fact that she was never HOS or that she was nominated again. But clearly, she was loved by Africa, because Africa kept her in the house and got her to win.

At the end of the day, all I would like to tell her is that she had a lot in how the people voted. Africa saved her and kept her in the house because they came to love her. Her true personality, honesty, beauty and humbleness! Well done Dillish...

Namibia is proud of you and I think you for the true and honest representation in the house. You are the bomb darling...

Till later chikas.

Huisgenoot - Hart van Windhoek (30 - 31 August 2013)

It's that time of the year again for Hart van Windhoek. So, this year, they've decided to host the event the end of August, 30 and 31st. I am so excited, cause from today it's just a week and counting before the bang and the lekker "kuiers".

You guys will remember that last year it was a huge success, if you might have forgotten, let me remind you here!!! I was joined by family the whole weekend and it was amazing. Sad though that the aunt that joint me for the Saturday passed away in November last year, but her memories will live till eternity. "Aunt Bells, I miss you, miss your voice, the random phone calls and the lekker Heineken's, lol!"

Aunt Bells
This year, I might be joined by friends. Wanted my parents to come along, but unfortunately they have a wedding celebration that week and in Mariental somewhere on a lodge.

So, Uda and Greg might be joining me. The not so newlyweds anymore, lollies.
Mr. & Mrs. Gawachab
Am really excited. More detail regarding the Hart van Windhoek is the ticket prices

So, check it out, you don't need to be an Afrikaans lover. Think about it this way. This is a lekker time to mingle with some great company and just enjoying the sun (hoping that it will not be windy and cold, lol).

Well guys, hope that I'll be seeing you there next weekend. With that in mind am going to leave you with this goodbey, lol.

See you guys at Hart van Windhoek and come and enjoy yourself.

Till next time chikas!!!

Lee Thompson Young

Lee Thompson Youn

(February 1, 1984 - August 19,2013)

It was with great sadness that I've heard that the beautiful, talented and sexy Lee is not with us anymore. I liked all the roles he played, I've enjoyed all the movies or films he acted in, even if it was just an appearance for about a minute or so. Believe me you, he was indeed something to look at and when he opened his mouth, that voice, lol!

Anyways, it's sad that he is gone and he will be remembered for many more years.

R.I.P dude!!!!

I will definately not comment on anything else or give detail on what's been said about what happened or anything, it's way too sad for me... *sniff-sniff*

In time you will get what is due to you!!!

Everyone might be going like: "Ag, whatever, how long am I gonna wait, lol"? Well, I have news for you, it depends on how patient you'll be, lol. ***CRAZY***

Got the below paragraph from the following blog: http://themegazeen.blogspot.com/2013/07/about-time.html

""We get so caught up keeping up with the Joneses we forget that we did not start the race at the same time, let alone run on the same track! We put ourselves under unnecessary pressure because you look to the right and Sipho is on property number two at the tender age of 25 (*side note* ever noticed how in primary school story sums there is always a Sipho, lol who is this Sipho guy??), you loo to the left and Sande just got her big break... FOR THE TENTH TIME! Life is unfair like that, we can't just get what we want when we want it, but in time, all that's due to you will make its way to you. So learn to be patient, keep moving and focus on your own race. ""

Yes, I was also sitting and reading this and wondering, oh well, whatever, but come to think of it, it's actually true.

We are so busy complaining or concentrating on other peoples races, that we can't even see or we don't even notice when out big break comes or when we get the opportunities, because we're focused on other people.

It really got me thinking about myself and my life. Things changed so much for me this year, so many different (good different) things happened this year and only because of the fact that I started concentrating on myself. And we should really be careful who we associate ourselves with. Not everyone that smiles with you are your friends.

Life is good, everyone gets in life what they deserve. We tend to complicate it ourselves. All we need to keep in mind is that everything happens for a reason and everything happens at the right time in our lives.

Splendid weekend chikas.

Enjoy and MWAH!!!

Proud moment - Rivan Meyer

So, when I opened the local newspaper (Die Republikein) this morning, 'sommer so whoa!' just like that, I see my friend in the newspaper.

Rivan Meyer
Manager: Internet Banking
Standard Bank Namibia

Rivan Meyer: Manager: Internet Banking. I am so proud of him. Still couldn't get a hold of him, because of meetings and stuff, lol. But my word, am so proud of him that I can't keep it to myself. This is so long overdue and he really deserves it.

Congratulations my friend. I can still recall the day we were talking about moving forward when you said; I just hope that it can happen already and that you don't understand why it's taking forever. And my response was: patience my friend, the right time will come, and you'll be suprised.

I am happy for you, very happy and I know you have a wonderful wife: Gaynor Meyer by your side supporting you.

Love you guys!!!

Tille next time chickas.

Mwah!!!
